UNDER THE GUIDANCE OF MARC THORPE AND ELI PEER, INDUSTRIAL DESIGN STUDENTS RESEARCHED HOW THE KITCHEN CAN EVOLVE TO ADDRESS CRITICAL ISSUES LIKE FOOD AND WATER SUPPLY, WASTE MANAGEMENT, AND ENERGY CONSERVATION. THE CONCEPT FOCUSES ON INTEGRATING SOLUTIONS LIKE CIRCULAR WATER RECYCLING, HOME-GROWN FOOD, AND SMART TECHNOLOGY TO MAKE KITCHENS MORE SUSTAINABLE. THE WINNING DESIGN WAS SHOWCASED AT WANTED DESIGN MANHATTAN DURING NYCX DESIGN.
