THE RESTAURANT BY TOM DIXON
AT SALONE DEL MOBILE, ELI PEER LED THE PRODUCTION AND EXECUTION OF THE RESTAURANT, A MULTI-SENSORY FOOD INSTALLATION AND PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN CAESARSTONE AND BRITISH DESIGN ICON TOM DIXON, INSPIRED BY THE FOUR ELEMENTS: EARTH, WIND, FIRE, AND WATER.
SET IN THE STUNNING 18TH-CENTURY ROTONDA DELLA BESANA, DIXON’S FOUR POP-UP KITCHENS WERE THE CENTERPIECE OF MILAN DESIGN WEEK.
FROM SCOUTING THE LOCATION TO CRAFTING THE KITCHENS, EVERY DETAIL WAS ORCHESTRATED BY A TALENTED TEAM, INCLUDING FIVE VIP DINNERS AND A 2,000-GUEST LAUNCH PARTY THAT MADE MILAN NIGHTLIFE HISTORY. THE INSTALLATION TOPPED WALLPAPER’S* LISTS AND EARNED GLOBAL ACCLAIM FROM THE NEW YORK TIMES, ARCHITECTURAL DIGEST, AND MORE.
