FOLLOWING THE SUCCESS OF SOURCE, WE TOOK SODASTREAM TO NEW CREATIVE HEIGHTS WITH THE LAUNCH OF THE PLAY MACHINE BY YVES BÉHAR, WITH DESIGN LEADERSHIP FROM GABE LAMB AT FUSEPROJECT.  PLAY SOLIDIFIED SODASTREAM’S CONNECTION WITH DESIGN AND EARLY ADOPTER COMMUNITIES BY INTRODUCING THE IDEA OF CUSTOMIZATION—“MAKE YOUR OWN MACHINE!” - WITH BOLD COLOR COMBINATIONS LIKE YELLOW, BLUE, AND RED.
TO CELEBRATE ITS LAUNCH, WE CREATED THE SODA LOUNGE—A VIBRANT, IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE FEATURED AT LONDON DESIGN FESTIVAL AND SALONE DEL MOBILE IN MILAN.
ATTENDEES COULD CUSTOMIZE THEIR OWN PLAY MACHINE ON THE SPOT, MIXING AND MATCHING COLORS, WHILE SAMPLING SIGNATURE DRINKS AND IMMERSED IN A SPACE DESIGNED WITH PLAYFUL COLOR BLOCKING FROM FLOOR TO CEILING. THE SODA LOUNGE CELEBRATED PERSONALIZATION, SUSTAINABILITY, AND THE JOY OF CREATING SOMETHING UNIQUE.
WITH ITS SLEEK DESIGN AND INNOVATIVE ENGINEERING, THE PLAY MACHINE WAS APPROACHABLE, FUN, AND AFFORDABLE, DRIVING MARKET PENETRATION WHILE ADVANCING SODASTREAM’S COMMITMENT TO ELIMINATING MILLIONS OF PLASTIC BOTTLES.
